Day 02 Mumbai – Nagpur (By Flight)
After breakfast half day city tour of Mumbai.
Mumbai is a cluster of seven islands and derives its name from Mumbadevi, the patron goddess of the koli fisher folk, its oldest inhabitants. Mumbai pulsates with activity. It is a city that is disciplined by no time frame day nor night. Mumbai is also the country´s financial powerhouse, the nation´s industrial heartland neither, and its economic nerve center. Mumbai houses dazzling shopping arcades, exciting sport activities, night clubs & discotheques, theater & music, gourmet restaurants and interesting sightseeing. Mumbai offers visitors a heady mix of all this and more.
Gateway of India – the Gateway of India is the main attraction of Mumbai city. It was built to commemorate the visit of King George V and Queen Mary for the Delhi Durbar in 1911. Situated at the Apollo Bunder, the gateway holds greater historical significance as the last of the British troops that left India by sea, marched through its portals.
Marine Drive – A stroll down the Marine Drive is the best way to discover Mumbai. This winding stretch of road with tall buildings on one side and sea on the other extends from Nariman Point to Malabar Hills. Due to its curved shape and many street lights, it was once called the Queen’s Necklace.
Hanging Gardens – The Hanging Gardens makes another must see site in Mumbai. The park was built during the early 1880s over Mumbai’s main reservoir at the top of the Malabar Hills. The reason of its location being to cover the water from the potentially contaminating activity of the nearby Towers of Silence.
Juhu – Nicknamed as the uptown bourgeois paradise, Juhu Beach is a place that attracts a large number of visitors throughout the year. Characterized by walkers, screaming children and courting couples, the beach covers an area of about 5 kilometers.
Later transfer to Airport to catch the flight to Nagpur. On arrival transfer to hotel overnight in the hotel.
Nagpur, being one of the second-most important cities of Maharashtra, is at times called its ‘Second Capital’. Founded by the Gond King of Deogad, the city once served as the capital of the Bhosle rulers in the central India. The royal era has resulted in enrichment of the city, as far as its monumental heritage is concerned.
Day 03 Nagpur – Pench (By Road) (159 Kms / Approx 5½ Hrs)
After breakfast and drive towards Pench. On arrival transfer to hotel overnight at hotel.
Day 04 Pench
After breakfast enjoy afternoon safari in Pench.
Pench National park, nestling in the lower southern reaches of the satpuda hills is named after Pench River, meandering through the park from north to south. It is located on the southern boundary of Madhya Pradesh, bordering Maharashtra, in the districts of Seoni and Chhindwara. Pench National Park, comprising of 758 SQ Kms, out of which a core area of 299 sq km of Indira Priyadarshini Pench National Park and the Mowgli Pench Sanctuary and remaining 464 sq km of pench national park is the buffer area.
The area of the present tiger reserve has a glorious history. A description of its natural wealth and richness occurs in Ain-i-Akbari. Pench Tiger Reserve and its neighborhood is the original setting of Rudyard Kipling’s most famous work, The Jungle Book. Overnight in Pench.
Day 05 Pench – Kanha (By Road) (198 Kms / Approx 4½ Hrs)
In the morning take a visit to Pench National Park. Later come to hotel for Breakfast drive to Kanha. On arrival Kanha transfer to Hotel. Evening free for own activity. Overnight at Hotel.
Kanha National park is located in Banjar and Halon valleys in the Mandla / Balaghat districts of the state of Madhya Pradesh. Kanha National Park is one of the India’s finest tiger reserves. It is spread more than 940 sq km in a horse shoe shaped valley bound by the spurs of the Mekal range the park presents a varies topography.
Kanha national park is more famous for its wildlife; the natural beauty of its landscape is just as fascinating. One of the best locations to enjoy that bounty is Bammi Dadar, also known as the sunset point.
Kanha also shelters one of the largest populations of the tigers in the country. Some of the other larger animal species found in the park are sloth bear, leopard, striped hyena, spotted dear, wild boar, jungle cat, jackal and a variety of monkeys. Over 200 spices of birds have been spotted in the park. There is much folklore about how it got kanha name. Some say it came from kanha, the clay like soil of the river bottoms, other say the area is named for kanha a holy forest sage, who once lived here and was the father of shakuntala, whose son was Bharat and whose story was told in our legends.
Day 06 Kanha

Day 07 Kanha – Bandhavgarh (By Road) (255 Kms / Approx 5½ Hrs)

Bandhavgarh National Park is one of the finest national park in the India and has the distinction of harboring the highest concentration of tigers per unit area of forest. The Bandhavgarh National Park is spread over on area of 448 sq km with a cross area of 105 sq km. At the center of the park is the bandhavgarh hill; rising 811 meters above sea level and surrounding it are a sloping valleys, These valleys end in small, swampy meadows locally known as “bohera”.
Bandhavgarh National Park was the former hunting preserve of the Maharaja of Rewa and at present is a famous natural hub for White Tigers. White Tigers, now a major attraction around the world’s zoos, were first discovered in Rewa, not far from here. The terrain is broken, with rocky hill ranges, running roughly east west, interspersed with grassy swamps and forested valleys.
Day 09 Bandhavgarh – Khajuraho (By Road) (225 Kms / Approx 5 Hrs)
In the Morning after breakfast drive to Khajuraho. On arrival transfer to hotel. Later visit to Khajuraho. Overnight at Khajuraho.
Khajuraho- The architectural style of the Khajuraho temples is very different from the temple prototype of that period. Each stands, instead of within the customary enclosure, on a high masonry platform. Combined with the upward direction of the structure, which is further accentuated by vertical projections, the total effect is one of grace and lightness, reminiscent of the Himalayan peaks.
Day 10 Khajuraho–Jhansi (190 Kms/Approx 4½ Hrs)/Jhansi–Agra (By Train)
In the morning leave by private car to Jhansi to catch the express train to Agra.
On arrival meet and assist at railway station and transfer to hotel overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 11 Agra
After breakfast full day city tour of Agra.
Agra – Historians suggest Agra to be the Agravana in the epic Mahabharata. It is expected to be known as Agralapura during the medieval age. An archaeological fact pushes the existence of Agraback to three million years. The Lodhi dynasty ruled over Agra for a long time. It was in the onset of the sixteenth century that the Mughals took over the ruling of Agra from the hands of Lodhis.
Taj Mahal Shah Jahan the great emperor and a great builder constructed Taj Mahal in the loving memory of his beloved wife Anjuman Bano Begum. Shah Jahan met this beautiful girl in his young age and later gets married with her. Taj Mahal completed in 1653 A.D. finished in by white marble, it is perhaps India most fascinating and beautiful monument. Not only is it recognized in just India but also all over the world. These perfectly symmetrical monuments took 22 years (1630-1652) of hard labor and 20,000 workers.
Red Fort – The construction of the Agra fort was started around 1565 when the initial structures were built by Akbar. Shah Jahan replaced most of these with his marble creations. Some however survived, among them are – Delhi Gate., Amar Singh Gate, Akbari Mahal and the Jehangir Mahal. The fort is crescent shaped, flattened on the east with a long, nearly straight wall facing the river.
Itimad Ud Daulah tomb- The first example of a tomb built on a riverbank in India, the Itimad Ud Daulah tomb houses the body of Mirza Ghiyas Beg, the father Mughal Empress Noor Jahan who again was Emperor Jahangir’s wife. This beautiful tomb situated on the banks of the Yamuna is also known as the ‘baby Taj’. Built around 1625 AD.

Day 12 Agra – Bharatpur (By Road) (52 Kms / Approx 1½ Hrs)
After breakfast drive towards Bharatpur on arrival visit Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary.
The Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary is one of the best and famous wildlife sanctuaries in India. It is the only wildlife sanctuary in India that is artificially made by a Maharaja. One of the finest bird sanctuaries in the world, Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary is located in Bharatpur city of Rajasthan and also known as the Keoladeo Ghana National Park. Indigenous water birds and many migratory water birds can be seen in this sanctuary along with larger animals such as Sambhar, Chital, Nilgai and Boar.

Day 13 Bharatpur–Delhi (By Road) (190 Kms/Approx 3½ Hrs)/Depart Delhi
After breakfast drive towards Delhi. On arrival half day city tour.
Later transfer to airport to catch the flight for home.
New Delhi – Rajpath – Flanked by ornamental ponds and lawns, Rajpath is host to the Republic Day Parade. The two secretariat buildings and Rashtrapati Bhawan on the Raisina hills are located on the two sides of this immensely broad road.
India Gate is a 42m high stone arch of triumph. It bears the name of the 85,000 Indian Army Soldiers who died in the campaigns of WW1, the North-West Frontiers operations and the 1919 Afghan Fiasco. Below the arch is the memorial to the Unknown Soldier. India Gate is surrounded by green grass lawns and trees. Parliament House- Sansad Bhawan or the Parliament house is the supreme law making body in the country. It is the center of power and politicians decide the fate of the Indian Democracy here.
Qutab Minar – In 1199, Qutbuddin raised the Qutab Minar either as a victory tower or as a minaret to the adjacent mosque. From a base of 14.32 mtrs. it tapers to 2.75 mtrs. At a height of 72.5 mtrs.
Lakshmi Narayan Temple – This temple was build by G. D. Birla in 1938. This beautiful temple is located in the west of Connaught Place. The temple is dedicated to the goddess of prosperity and good fortune. The temple has well grafted gardens. It is also known as the Birla Mandir visit to Local Indian Restaurant for Dinner. After dinner transfer to airport for flight back to home.
