This is the perfect trip for those wanting to enjoy the varied and stunning landscapes of Argentina. Explore the natural splendors of Patagonia and the lakes inside Tierra del Fuego National Park. Take a ride aboard the End of the World Train and visit small colonial towns in Argentina’s northwest.

Day 01: Buenos Aires
Welcome to Buenos Aires, the Paris of South America. We will receive you at Ezeiza International Airport and transfer you to your hotel by a private vehicle.

In the afternoon, enjoy our half-day city tour with an experienced tour guide. Explore the cultural capital of South America. Discover its quaint, traditional neighborhoods, its multitude of races and cultures and its rich tradition that finds expression in its dances, most notably Tango, folklore, gauchos and football.

Among the many places to visit in the city are Plaza de Mayo and its surroundings and the residential neighborhoods of San Telmo, La Boca, Recoleta and Retiro.

After the city tour, enjoy a delicious three-course dinner paired with the best Argentine wines.

Day 02: Puerto Madryn and Peninsula Valdés
Today we will transfer you to the airport of Buenos Aires, where you will catch your flight to Puerto Madryn. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel in Puerto Madryn, an entry point for those visiting the Valdés Peninsula.

Day 03: Watching penguins in Punta Tombo
Visit the protected area of Punta Tombo, which can have as many as 500,000 Magellan penguins during the breeding season from September through the end of March. See how they compete among each other for space, protection and taking control of their nests.

You also have the optional seeing Patagonian dolphins, or Toninas. This tour should be hired and paid on spot since it depends on weather conditions.

Day 04: Whale-watching in the Valdés Peninsula
Travel from Puerto Pirámides for your day-long, whale-watching adventure in the Peninsula Valdés. Try detecting the sounds of the docile whales amidst the roar of waves crashing against the boat. See a rich fauna consisting mainly of sea lions and elephant seals in the peninsula.

The whale-watching takes place from June through mid-December. During other times, a sailing trip to watch sea lions and sea birds will be done instead. However, this also depends upon weather conditions.

Day 05: Travel to Ushuaia, the southernmost city
Transfer from your hotel in Puerto Madryn to Trelew Airport to take your flight to Ushuaia. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. Also known as the ‘End of the World’, this resort town sits atop a steep hill and is surrounded by the Martial Mountains on the one side and the Beagle Channel on the other.

Day 06: Tierra del Fuego National Park
Explore Tierra del Fuego National Park, the only National Park in Argentina with a coastline along the Beagle Channel. Visit the Ensenada Bay and Lake Roca. Take a ride on board the End of the World Train. Appreciate the beauty of the cohiues and lengas forests along the way.

You can also choose the option of navigating the Beagle Channel and seeing Les Eclaireurs lighthouse, located 5 nautical miles east of Ushuaia.

Day 07: Lakes Fagnano & Escondido
Cross the Andes to reach Tierra del Fuego, whose inhospitable landscape includes glaciers and snowy mountains dotted with wind-sculpted trees that thrive in tundra. Visit the two lakes of Fagnano and Escondido.

Day 8: El Calafate
Today we will transfer you to Ushuaia airport to take your flight to El Calafate. On reaching your new destination, we will transfer you to your hotel.

Day 9: Explore the Perito Moreno Glacier
Visit the magnificent Perito Moreno Glacier, one of Patagonia’s most spectacular sites. Appreciate the beauty of the unique Patagonia landscape along the foothills of the Andes in your way.

The Perito Moreno Glacier is located in Los Glaciares National Park, a UNESCO heritage site. Travel to the footbridge area near the glacier to appreciate its size. Take a boat trip around the glacier, sail to the Témpanos Channel to get closer to the glacier and see its detachments.

Day 10: A free day in El Calafate
You have the day for yourself. To better enjoy your leisure hours, we suggest adding one of the following optional tours in your itinerary:

Navigate through glaciers and icebergs
Visit the Upsala Glacier and Cristina Ranch
Enjoy a day in Nibepo Aike Ranch and tour around Patagonia. Conquer the steppe, watch ranchers shearing sheep in an estancia and taste delicious lamb meat

Day 11: Bariloche
Transfer to El Calafate airport for your flight to Bariloche, a region famous for its gleaming lakes and pristine sceneries. We will receive you at Bariloche airport and transfer you to your hotel.

Day 12: Victoria Island and the myrtle forest
Sail for 30 minutes to Puerto Anchorena on Victoria Island. Get the chance to go out on an excursion or for a hike across the island. Ascend to the summit of 900-meter-high Mount Bella Vista by a chairlift. Visit some spectacular vantage points and enjoy some of the best views of the surrounding area on your way down.

Head for Puerto Quetrihue and visit the myrtle forest. See ancient trees with smooth, cinnamon-colored barks. This particular forest is unique in the world. It bears white flowers resembling the orange blossom, while its purple-colored fruit is delicious. The forest has been declared a natural monument and human activities have been restricted in this area.

Day 13: Leisure day in Bariloche
Today is your off day again. You have the chance to enjoy Bariloche on your own. In case you are thinking about ways to spend your free hours, here are some optional tours that might interest you.

Travel down the Seven Lakes route and visit one of the prettiest areas of Patagonia. See the spectacular water mirrors inserted in the mountains before you reach San Martín de los Andes.

Visit Lake Gutiérrez and Lake Mascardi to reach the foot of Cerro Tronador. Walk further to reach the tongue of the Ventisquero Negro Glacier, a black-colored glacier that originates from the immaculate, white Cerro Tronador.

Day 14: Salta
Bye bye to the lake region. Today we will transfer you to the airport, where you will catch your flight to Salta to see the colorful mountains of the Northwest. Reception at Salta airport and transfer to your hotel.

Day 15: The Quebrada Valley
Your journey through the Northwest begins by travelling the path parallel to the railway tracks of the famous Tren de las Nubes, through Quebrada del Toro, climbing 4,000 meters above the mean sea level to reach San Antonio de los Cobres, a beautiful town frozen in time.

Continue driving down Route 40, reaching Salinas Grandes, the precise border between Salta and Jujuy. Descend Cuesta de Lipán, from where you can catch the sight of condors soaring in the sky, to arrive to the town of Purmamarca, famous for Cerro de los Siete Colores, one of the hills bordering the Quebrada de Purmamarca Valley. Spend your night in the charming, mountainous valley of Quebrada.

Day 16: The Humahuaca Gorge, return to Salta
The journey begins from Purmamarca and travels around the Humahuaca Gorge, declared a heritage of humanity by UNESCO. Your visits of the day also include Posta de Hornillos, Tilcara, and Huacalera. Passing through the Tropic of Capricorn, you will also visit the Uquía Church and Maimará.

Return to Salta after the tour is over.

Day 17: A day tour to the Cafayate wine area
Head to the Calchaquíes Valley passing through an area popular for tobacco, cotton, sugarcane and fruit trees. Travel to Río de las Conchas admiring the unusual geographical formations and colorful landscape of a place whose origins go back to over sixty million years.

The landscape you see around you is the result of a dry environment. Moving forward, you will be able to see extensions of vineyards, a sign that you are getting close to the area of Cafayate where the famous Torrontés wine is made. Visit a winery to see the process involved in producing wine and taste the varieties they have to offer. Return to Salta at the end of the day.

Day 18: From Salta to Iguazú
From colorful mountains to the jungle now. Today we will transfer you to the airport in Salta from where you will take a flight to Iguazú. Upon arrival, transfer to your to hotel.

Day 19: Iguazú Falls, Argentine side
Visit the spectacular Iguazú Falls, one of the most beautiful places on the planet. Start your journey through the jungle in the Ecological Train and visit the famous Devil´s Throat. Travel down a long walkway until you reach a popular viewpoint from where to observe the gorge.

Take a trip through both the upper and lower walkways around the fall and enjoy the beauty of Iguazú from various vantage points.

Day 20: Iguazú Falls on Brazilian side, fly to Buenos Aires
Take a half-day trip to the Brazilian side of the falls, which is famous for the panoramic views of the waterfall that it offers. After the trip,transfer to Puerto Iguazú airport to catch your flight to Buenos Aires. We will receive at Buenos Aires airport and transfer you to your hotel.

Day 21: A free day in Buenos Aires
Stroll around Buenos Aires, the Paris of South America, on your own. Don´t miss visiting the Colón Theater, Tortoni Café and the trendy Palermo Soho.

We do suggest adding some of the following optional tours prior to your arrival:

Sail in the Tigre Delta, a unique ecosystem just 30 minutes away from downtown Buenos Aires. Discover the people who live along the channel and their peculiar ways of life. This area was chosen by aristocratic families for their summer holidays during the late 19th century.

Enjoy a visit to an estancia. Get to know the Pampas and the gauchos, famous for traversing this grassy landscape on horseback following their cattle, as well as the dances and the folklore that are typical to Argentina. Taste an Argentine barbecue.

Sit down for a Tango show accompanied by dinner. A visit to Buenos Aires is incomplete without attending a Tango salon. From popular international shows to smaller and more traditional milongas, the city offers you different flavours of the dance. Don´t hesitate to indicate your preference.

Day 22: End of your journey
The tour has finally come to an end. At a pre-arranged hour, we will transfer you to Buenos Aires airport from where you will catch your flight back home.
